However, as the story progresses into young adulthood and approaches the climax, the transition feels too abrupt for me to follow, making it harder to stay connected to the narrative. Honestly, the encounter between the heroine and the protagonist's father felt rushed.

Since the catchphrase reads "Abe no Seimei to Onmyoji" (Abe Seimei and the Yin-Yang Master), I thought it would be an action story about battles against monsters. Still, it was more in the category of a mystery novel.
