The film was thought to be a festive film with all the Avengers and all the heroes, but it was also a glimpse into the struggles of each of the heroes.

Summary
The damage is so extensive after the battle with Ultron that the Avengers are finally held accountable. Then, Captain America and Iron Man confront each other, and the Avengers are split up.
By Official Site
My perception of Tony Stark, shaped by his selfishness in Avengers Age of Ultron, was overturned entirely in this film. Witnessing Iron Man, a character known for his resilience and suffering, was a surprise and somewhat poignant.
Cap is always confident in his actions, while Tony seems to lose confidence in himself by creating enemies through his actions.
As an action scene film, it was full of fight scenes, transformation scenes, and exhilarating action scenes. However, this film was tragic because there was no hand-holding after the fights. It was not a flashy fight battle but a division of the Avengers.
It was a good combination of a loud and boisterous festival with a heavy dose of justice.
Legitimate sequel to the Captain America series.
Captain America: Civil War is the third installment in the “Captain America” series, which began with the 2011 release of “Captain America: The First Avenger.” It is a large-scale film comparable to the “Avengers” series. It is the opening film of Phase 3 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) and a stepping stone to the climax of the Infinity Saga.
The most notable feature of this film is the impressive cast of characters. In addition to the familiar members of the “Captain America” series, many of the Avengers, including Iron Man, Black Widow, and Hawkeye, also appear in this film, effectively the third film in the “Avengers” series. The story takes place approximately one year after “Avengers: Age of Ultron. The film’s main issue is whether or not to accept the “Sokovia Accords,” backed by the argument that the powerful Avengers should be placed under the control of the United Nations.
Sokovia Accords
“The Sokovia Accords. Approved by 117 countries, it states that the Avengers shall no longer be a private organization. Instead, they’ll operate under the supervision of a United Nations panel, only when and if that panel deems it necessary.”
The Avengers Split
As you can see from the posters, the “Avengers split” is front and center in this film. The Avengers are divided between Captain America, who is against the Sokovia Accords, and Iron Man, who is for them. It was exciting that the audience was split into two factions, Captain America’s and Iron Man’s.
Captain America faction | Iron Man faction |
---|---|
Captain America | Iron Man |
Falcon | Black Widow |
Scarlet Witch | Warm Machine |
Winter Soldier | Vision |
Hawkeye | Black Panther |
Since this film is part of the “Captain America” series, Iron Man is the antagonist, a villain. Iron Man argues that if his past heroic activities have caused civilian casualties, it would be better to have a larger, more just organization like the United Nations manage and take responsibility for them. Frankly, this was a typical idea of his. He became a hero in the first place because of his sense of atonement for the fact that the weapons he created for world peace created an utterly opposite reality. His roots have stayed the same. It makes sense that the Black Widow, who, like Iron Man, was guilty of her past, would initially side with him. However, I was surprised that many fans took Iron Man’s side. I was shocked that this was the case in Japan. Many people may be attracted to Iron Man’s humanity and craftsmanship in making armor.
The New Spider-Man
There is a hero who makes his first appearance in this film. That hero is Spider-Man, whom Iron Man has recruited to his side. Spider-Man is a popular character who has been adapted into film many times. Still, this film marks the debut of the MCU version of Spider-Man, played by Tom Holland. From the trailer stage, Spider-Man has created an enormous buzz, and his popularity and attention have been overwhelmingly high. The Spider-Man of this film has a more childlike impression compared to the past films. Still, it is closer to the character in the original comic book. I have my doubts about Iron Man’s method of drawing the underage boy into the battle by explaining the situation, which could be a lie, that “Captain America is about to do something dangerous.” Still, I was impressed by Spider-Man’s contribution to the team with his quick thinking, which is hard to believe that he had never done battle before. In the fight scenes, he provides spectacular action and steady laughs, and he is the MVP of this film.
Justice for Captain America
Captain America was consistently portrayed as a man of justice in the MCU films. Although he may be perceived as merely trying to save his “friend” Bucky, he would not have taken Bucky’s side if Bucky had voluntarily committed a crime.
Having initially experienced a world war as a soldier and captain in “Captain America: The First Avenger,” Captain America understands the negative consequences of his words and actions and is prepared to take responsibility for them. He became a soldier because he genuinely wanted to serve his country, and he chose to become a super-soldier because he was not strong enough to do so himself. He fully understands the danger of misuse of his great power as a weapon if it is put under someone else’s control, and that is why his stance has always been that he must take responsibility for his own words and actions. He believes justice is not about personal feelings but about doing what is right.
It may reflect that in the second film in the series, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, his international peacekeeping organization, S.H.I.E.L.D., was tainted by Hydra.
Revenge” or “retribution”?
The major theme of this film is “Revenge and how to stop the chain of revenge?” The central theme of this film is “revenge and how to stop the chain of revenge. The first Black Panther in this film, even more so than Captain America, is the first Black Panther. Revenge is based on personal feelings, but it is a chain reaction. In this film, Iron Man himself fell into this chain. On the other hand, Black Panther realized this negative cycle and made the noble decision to stop it himself.
The author believes that taking revenge on the bad guys because of personal feelings is not the justice a hero should take. What heroes do is “retaliation” or “Avenge,” precisely what the Avengers mean. Although this film tends to focus only on the division of the Avengers, there is no more appropriate film to open Phase III than this one in that it reexamines the meaning of “Avengers” to the audience. We invite you to witness the beginning of the climax of the Infinity Saga.
